Sinn Fein has dismissed last night's UDA pledge not to become involved in violence at this Sunday's Drumcree parade as a 'pantomime'.

Sinn Fein has dismissed last night's UDA pledge not to become involved in violence at this Sunday's Drumcree parade as a 'pantomime'.

Sinn Fein's Gerry Kelly said the UDA's statement would be almost humourous if it was not so serious.

The Parades Commission is due to annouce later today whether it will reverse it's ban on this Sunday's re-routed Orange march at Drumcree.

An SDLP delegation said yesterday that the commission had no grounds for a reversal.
