O2 boss appointed to Irish Life board

The chairman of Irish Life & Permanent plc, Gillian Bowler, has announced the appointment of Danuta Gray as a non-executive Director of the Group.

The chairman of Irish Life & Permanent plc, Gillian Bowler, has announced the appointment of Danuta Gray as a non-executive director of the group.

Danuta Gray (46) is CEO of O2 Ireland, a position she has held since 2001. Danuta holds a BSc in Bio Physics from the University of Leeds and an MBA from the London Business School.

Speaking on the appointment, Gillian Bowler said that Danuta will bring a wealth of experience to the Group. "Danuta has extensive experience in running a service industry business with a similar focus on customer service, distribution, consumer sales and marketing and I look forward to her contribution to the work of the Board," she said
