Incoming GAA president Sean Kelly will put players from weaker counties at the top of his help list in the coming years.

Kelly plans to run a secondary competition alongside the senior All-Irelands and said: "I would like to see the weaker counties drive this idea but even if they don¹t, I will propose it myself."

Tipperary football board chairman Michael Frawley said: "Sean Kelly's proposal is a breath of fresh air and is entitled to nothing less than 100% support."
