Local fire authorities are to get a boost of €35m in extra funding for local fire stations right across the country.

Local fire authorities are to get a boost of €35m in extra funding for local fire stations right across the country.

The cash injection will go towards major upgrading in stations at Shannon, Mallow, Longford, Castlebar and Templemore.
