Man injured in Dublin drive-by shooting

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after he was shot in the head, chest and shoulder during a drive-by attack in the Clondalkin area of Dublin last night.

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after he was shot in the head, chest and shoulder during a drive-by attack in the Clondalkin area of Dublin last night.

The victim was waiting at traffic lights on the Ninth Lock Road in Neilstown when he was hit by three shots fired from another vehicle which pulled up beside him.

The shooting happened at around 9.20pm.

The injured man was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where his condition was described as stable last night.
