Preliminary test results for a possible case of foot-and-mouth disease in pigs in Co Carlow have shown no traces of the disease.

Preliminary test results for a possible case of foot-and-mouth disease in pigs in Co Carlow have shown no traces of the disease.

The tests were carried out in laboratories in England after a vet detected symptoms of the disease in 12 pigs in a meat-processing plant.
