Firework factories blaze kills 20 in eastern India

A fire engulfed three illegal fireworks factories in a village in the eastern Indian state of Bihar today, killing at least 20 people.

A fire engulfed three illegal fireworks factories in a village in the eastern Indian state of Bihar today, killing at least 20 people.

At least 40 others were reported injured in the fire in Khusropur village, 22 miles east of the state capital Patna, said local official Mohammed Qasim Ansari.

He said the factories did not have valid licenses.
