GAA: Tipperary support deletion of Rule 21
The Tipperary county GAA board have unanimously decided to support the motion to delete Rule 21 from its official guide.
Following a special emergency meeting in Thurles, the board decided to support popular opinion on the matter.
A final, GAA-wide decision on Rule 21 will be made this weekend at a special convention in Thurles.
Rule 21 prevents British Army and RUC officers from taking part in GAA activities and from being members of GAA clubs.
