The Green Party is looking to breathe new life into its ranks.

Speaking at the party's first convention since losing all of their seats in the General Election, leader Eamon Ryan has said they are looking to inspire people to rejoin politics through the Greens.

Former Monaghan Councillor, Catherine Martin, was elected the party's new Deputy Leader at today's meeting.

She has said the Greens are needed now more than ever.
