Gardai hunting the gang who escaped with half a million pounds worth of computer equipment during a raid last year have released details of three arrests they have made as part of their investigation.

One man is currently in custody, while two others were questioned in October and earlier this week, but were released. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The investigation is eight months old and is ongoing, according to Gardai.

The investigation is being led by the Garda Computer Theft Investigation Unit.

Those detained have been held at Garda stations in Terenure and Blanchardstown.

It is believed that some of Dublin’s larger criminal gangs are behind a number of raids in the city.
