FK Metalurgs proved too strong for the Irish side after they lost 0-1 in the first leg in Cork, they lost 2-1 today in Latvia.

Sergey Skobyob scored both of the goals in the first half and Pat Morley scored a consolation goal with just four minutes remaining.

Both sides were reduced to ten men before full-time when James Mulligan was red carded before half time for violent conduct and Giedrjus Zuautas was sent-off for a second bookable offence after 52 minutes.
