Two women have reportedly been killed in a stampede for relief aid in Kabul.

It happened after people began breaking a long queue outside a UN office.

Relief workers have struggled to control queues of people waiting for food and other goods.

Reports said the crush was made worse because many women were still wearing burqas.

People easily tripped on the head-to-toe body-masking uniforms in the rush to be handed aid.

IRNA claimed that security personnel on duty outside relief workers' offices had failed to keep the crowds in check.

Thousands of hungry people wait everyday outside different relief organizations' offices in Kabul each day in the hope of food.
