Man critical after Dublin stabbing

A man is critically ill in hospital this morning following a stabbing incident in Dublin.

A man is critically ill in hospital this morning following a stabbing incident in Dublin.

The injured man was taken to Beaumont Hospital during the early hours by a number of people. It is understood that he had been stabbed in the Coolock area of the city.

Gardai say their investigation is still in its early stages and they are not in a position to release any further information.
