A 45-year-old man has died in hospital after he was shot at a shopping centre in Tallaght in Dublin in May.

A 45-year-old man has died in hospital after he was shot at a shopping centre in Tallaght in Dublin in May.

Carl Wynne of Russell Court, Russell Square, Tallaght was gunned down at St Dominic's Shopping Centre off Mountain Park Road at around 10pm on May 30th.

He was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where he died this morning.

A post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the exact cause of his death.

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information, particularly about a black motorbike with a driver and pillion passenger which was seen in the area at the time of the shooting.
