Kidnappers in Vietnam are threatening to give their hostages HIV unless they receive a ransom.

Kidnappers in Vietnam are threatening to give their hostages HIV unless they receive a ransom.

The gang sent an extortion letter to a resident in Ho Chi Minh City, saying they are drug addicts infected with Aids.

They say they will inject his children with HIV and douse other family members with acid. They have demanded 25 million dong, (£1,148), reports the Thanh Nien newspaper.
