Premiership: Wenger waits on quartet

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will conduct fitness tests on Patrick Vieira, Tony Adams, Francis Jeffers and David Seaman tomorrow ahead of Sunday’s game at Everton.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will conduct fitness tests on Patrick Vieira, Tony Adams, Francis Jeffers and David Seaman tomorrow ahead of Sunday’s game at Everton.

Vieira, who came off with a hamstring strain against Southampton last weekend, is the only one of the quartet likely to start at Goodison Park, although Jeffers could be on the bench against his former club.

Robert Pires and Dennis Bergkamp are suspended, while Fredrik Ljungberg (ribs), Ashley Cole (knee), Martin Keown (fractured leg) and Stuart Taylor (finger) are injured, and Kanu and Lauren are on international duty.
