Five hostages have been freed from Somali pirates by the British Royal Navy.

Five hostages have been freed from Somali pirates by the British Royal Navy.

A crew of marines from HMS Cornwall boarded the vessel in the Indian Ocean after a South Korean merchant ship spotted it "acting suspiciously".

A search found the ship's original Yemeni crew had been held hostage for three months.
