Norwich manager Paul Lambert has confirmed striker James Vaughan will be out for several months with a knee injury.

Norwich manager Paul Lambert has confirmed striker James Vaughan will be out for several months with a knee injury.

The 23-year-old hobbled off after coming on as a second-half substitute during the Canaries’ 2-1 defeat of Sunderland on Monday night.

Tests were carried out on Vaughan, who moved to Carrow Road from Everton in the summer, which showed the forward would be ruled out.
