Two teenagers die in crash

Two people are dead and five more have been injured following a major road accident in Co Kerry during the early hours of this morning.

Two people are dead and five more have been injured following a major road accident in Co Kerry during the early hours of this morning.

The dead are two teenage girls, aged 18 and 19. The single vehicle accident happened at Castlemaine at about 3 am.

The injured have been taken to hospital in Tralee, two are still in for observation. According to Gardai the girls are from the area.

Their names are not being released until all next of kin have been informed.
