Police in the North are treating a fire that damaged several commercial properties in Co Armagh as arson.

The fire started in a rear of the Cope Inn pub on High Street in Portadown just after 10pm last night

Police attempts to put out the blaze were hampered by an anonymous caller who said a device had been left behind one of the buildings.

Although the fire spread quickly, all customers in the pub were evacuated safely. Two adjoining buildings were damaged.
