The parents of missing teenager Brendan Rushe have identified a body recovered from sand at Donegal Quay this morning as that of their son.

The parents of missing teenager Brendan Rushe have identified a body recovered from sand at Donegal Quay this morning as that of their son.

The 15-year-old had been missing for a week from his home at Castlederg Co Tyrone after he became detached from his friends following a disco.

A post-mortem began on the body this afternoon and his parents formally identified their son at Letterkenny General Hospital.
