The big news from Dooradoyle is that David Wallace made his first appearance in seven weeks as he recovers from a shoulder injury.

He played a big part in Garryowen's victory over Blackrock College by 28-16.

Garryowen remain in second place as they failed yet again to get a bonus point.

Their try scorers were Peter Malone and Kevin O'Riordan with a penatly try making it three in the match.

The remainder of their points were kicked by Billy Tracey.

Michael Jackson scored a try for Blackrock College and the remainder of their points were scored by Conor Kilroy.
