Gardaí in Limerick are investigating the discovery of a woman's body in a room in a city centre hotel.

Gardaí in Limerick are investigating the discovery of a woman's body in a room in a city centre hotel.

Hotel cleaning staff found the body at approximately midday today.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the State Pathologist's Office has been informed.
