Cancer Society urges patients on waiting list to contact NTPF

The Irish Cancer Society is urging those who are waiting longer than three months for a colonoscopy to contact the National Treatment Purchase Fund.

The Irish Cancer Society is urging those who are waiting longer than three months for a colonoscopy to contact the National Treatment Purchase Fund.

The NTPF can arrange for the test at a private hospital free of charge.

There are currently more than 1,000 people waiting for the bowel cancer test.
