The Meath County Board has deferred a decision on who to appoint as the county's new football manager.
A decision was expected to be made last night on who will replace Colm Coyle.
Eamon O'Brien, who served as a selector during Sean Boylan's reign, is favourite to take the job, but former Longford and Westmeath manager Luke Dempsey has also been interviewed for the position.
