A cyclist was killed today after a collision with a cement truck.

A cyclist was killed today after a collision with a cement truck.

The accident happened at the Grand Canal, Harold’s Cross Bridge, in south inner-city Dublin at around 10.30am.

Gardaí said the dead man was believed to have been in his 30s and nobody else was injured.

The scene of the crash has been closed to allow Garda forensic crash scene investigators carry out examinations.
