Cork City slap €100,000 price-tag on Doyle

Striker Kevin Doyle is set to cost any suitors €100,000 to lure him away from Cork City.

Striker Kevin Doyle is set to cost any suitors €100,000 to lure him away from Cork City.

The Wexford-born striker has a get-out clause in his contract that means he can go to any club willing to pay €100,000 for his services.

Doyle is attracting the interest of Reading and Southend United.

“I am not thinking about a move because I have heard nothing and I have another season to go with Cork. I do have a clause built into my existing contract but it’s all hypothetical really because there has been no concrete offers," Doyle told the Evening Echo newspaper today.
