A 19-year-old man was in a “serious” condition in hospital today after he was stabbed.

A 19-year-old man was in a “serious” condition in hospital today after he was stabbed.

Detectives in north Belfast have arrested four people following the incident in the Cliftonville Avenue area at about 10pm yesterday, police said.

The teenager’s condition is described as “serious”, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, a spokesman said.

The four people held were assisting police with their inquiries, he added.
