Taoiseach: Solution to Quinn Insurance issue a priority

Taoiseach Brian Cowen says that finding a solution to the problems facing the Quinn group, is one of his main priorities.

Taoiseach Brian Cowen says that finding a solution to the problems facing the Quinn group, is one of his main priorities.

Speaking in Dublin today, Mr Cowen said he has asked Enterprise Ireland to meet with representatives from the company.

The Financial Regulator placed Quinn Insurance into provisional administration last week, citing concerns about the firm's solvency.

The Taoiseach said that his main concern was for the future of the employees of the company.
