Bomb disposal experts are examining two devices that were found by a fisherman off the Dublin coast earlier today.

The “shell-like” devices, which are 12 to 18 inches in length and three inches in diameter, were handed in at Balbriggan Garda Station after being caught in fishing nets.

An army spokesman said they do not belong to the Irish defence forces.
