12 arrested after PSNI discover cannabis factories

Police in the North have arrested a dozen people following the discovery of a number of cannabis factories.

Police in the North have arrested a dozen people following the discovery of a number of cannabis factories.

More than 250 cannabis plants were found and more than 2.5kg of the drug were seized.

Detectives said the estimated street value is more than £220,000 (€322,000).

Twelve people were arrested, and are due to appear in court over the next two weeks.
