Fine Gael has accused the Taoiseach of spending time trying to arrange a second U2 concert at Slane instead of moving to end the teachers' pay row.

Fine Gael has accused the Taoiseach of spending time trying to arrange a second U2 concert at Slane instead of moving to end the teachers' pay row.

The opposition is to raise the issue in the Dail tomorrow.

Meanwhile a delegation of concerned North Mayo Leaving Certificate students have met with Minister of State Tom Moffat and ASTI Mayo executive member Geraldine Rouane over the threat to the exams.

They say that if the ASTI does not participate in the exams it will undermine the exam process and their six years of study.

The students are also organising a petition demanding a compromise between the ASTI and the Government.
