Two people shot dead in Co Clare
Two people, a 32-year-old man and a woman in her twenties, have been shot dead in Shannon, Co Clare.
Gardai said they discovered the bodies at the rear of the Cluain Aire estate after gunshots were reported at around midnight.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
The State Pathologist - Dr John Harbison - will carry out post mortems on the bodies later today.
