London bombing: Real IRA suspected

There was an explosion at a London postal depot late last night, the Real IRA is suspected of carrying out the attack in which no one was injured.

There was an explosion at a London postal depot late last night, the Real IRA is suspected of carrying out the attack in which no one was injured.

The suspected terrorist bomb, which was packed with high explosives, detonated at the Post Office delivery depot in North London shortly before 11.30pm last night.

Police reports say that there were no casualties and only minor damage was caused to the building, which is in the Hendon area of London.

Scotland Yard believes that the bomb is the work of the dissident Republican group the Real IRA, the group responsible for the Omagh bombing.
