Man airlifted to hospital in Co Wexford

A man has been airlifted to safety after falling this afternoon on rocks along the Co. Wexford coast.

A man has been airlifted to safety after falling this afternoon on rocks along the Co. Wexford coast. The Aer Corps helicopter based at Waterford went to the aid of the man after he fell on Duff Carrick rocks about a mile-and-a-half north of Courttown. The victim has been taken to Wexford General Hospital to be treated for a suspected broken leg.
