A new advert for the Ford Explorer is disguised as a giant bird feeder.

Billboards will be filled with two tonnes of birdseed which will slowly be pecked away by birds to reveal a picture of the vehicle.

The new campaign will be unveiled at the launch the 2002 Explorer in New York and Detroit later this month.

The advert reads: "This bird-watching experience is brought to you by the smoother, bigger all-new Explorer '02."
