A third teenager has died on the country's roads in less than two days.

A 19-year-old man died when the car he was travelling in struck a lamp-post at Moyross in Limerick around 12:40am this morning.

Yesterday, teenage friends Claire O'Donnell and Rachel Greensmyth died when their car plunged into a river in Co Kerry.
